You are purchasing a Button Antique Victorian Brass Filigree Steel Cut Hearts Flower Pastes Faucet. Its a gorgeous button. Its a mix of steel and brass. The center is either a rubber or celluloid plastic its hard to get the feel to test because of where its placed. The edges are steel cut with the facets and hearts. The center has a gilt filigree flower and I actually see the color red under the tarnish on the petals so not sure if its painted red steel cuts under the tarnish or those are actually pastes. Beautiful Victorian button. The back has a shank and is painted black. It measures almost 1.25" its a large button. Some tarnish darkened areas, and a few small ding/ scratch marks. No major cracks or chips. however the light center has a few hairlines. Overall a gorgeous button for display.
