These items have the usual wear of items that have been used and that have been stored over the years in drawers, etc.

The following six items are in this LOT: (from bottom up in first photo)

1) Dad's Root Beer Top encasing on the cork side a 1944 Lincoln Penny; Usual wear.

2) "I Gave," Community Fund - Pinback: 3/4" diameter; Union made mark; made by Wendell's, Minneapolis; Depression and New Deal organization; surface rust dots on back. Normal wear.

3) "Be Grateful Americans," Community Fund: 1/2" diameter (unusually small); made by Wendell's -- see #2 above: Normal wear.

4) "Better Housing Program," 1" diameter; This is a 1934 New Deal pin that has the Union label on reverse; a safety pin has been inserted to allow for wearing -- Most likely the original circular pin is was lost.

5)  This is a bent tab pin with the Union  Label on the tab; approximately 1" diameter. "I bought more bonds." V for Victory inside which is the figure of liberty soldier. "5th War Loan" in red banner.  Under this is the "dot, dot, dot, dash" (...--) of Morse Code, widely used during the two World Wars as a sign of patriotism.  The button was used, so the tab as been bent back. We believe that age has slightly yellowed the white background.

6)  A "coin" medallion produced by Look magazine. It has the eagle in the center on both sides, and "Look Savings Medallion" around the edges. There is a marr on one edge that is about  1/8" where, we think, some kind of glue must have fallen and then been scraped off.
