In summer 1976, the 20-year-old was a motor mechanic [2] [3] in the youth magazine Bravo at the annual "Teen Choice" [4] to the "Bravo-Boy" [5] [6] chosen the year. Then he received record deals. Although he favored the Rolling Stones , Led Zeppelin and Deep Purple , he made himself a hit singer. [4] He signed with CBS , where producer Dieter Zimmermann (including Costa Cordalis , Ricky Shayne , Roberto Blanco ,Ingrid Peters ). The first single appeared in the late autumn of 1976 and was called Hey, Disco Queen . Zimmermann died in 1978, from where Didi Zill took over the young artist, until the CBS time ended. Zill, for example, the German version of the Smokie title Liverpool Docks , which came as a lifetime in the Liverpool docks on the market, produced. He also wrote for the hit He has a punk rock band in Oberhausen responsible, with the Thomas 1978 disco in the ZDF music program disco . Thomas did not register a chart entry until 1982, when he moved out, a cover version of Chilly's Secret Lies , released by Polydor . [1] Thomas initially moved to Munich [3] and entered preferable in southern Germany nightclubs on. His trademark was extremely tight jeans . [5] [6] He later returned to the North.

On March 28, 1983, he finished with Marie, Marie ... , another cover version in the ZDF hit parade last place.
