Failure of a Mission: Berlin 1937 - 1939 by Sir Nevile Henderson, 1940 This book is one of a thematic group of books I am listing focused History.
This medium hardcover book (5 ¾ x 8 ¾ inches, 334 pages) was published by G.P. Putnam’s Sons of New York, dated 1940. The book is bound in maroon cloth covered boards with the authors initials embossed on the front and gold gilt titles on the spine. Please see the photos of the Table of Contents for more information.
Condition: This book is in very good condition. The covers have some very minor edge wear, particularly at the top and bottom of the spine and the corners. Inside, there is a stamp on the front endpaper stating, “Discarded from Jervis Public Library Rome, NY”. Otherwise, the book is unmarked and the interior pages are clean and bright, from cover to cover. The hinges are both intact binding is tight and sound.
