A memorable medal is devoted to a self-governing scientific organization whose main task is to provide scientific support to the development of the branches of the agro-industrial complex. The history of the National Academy of Agrarian Sciences of Ukraine begins its counting on November 1, 1918, from the date of the creation of the Agricultural Scientific Committee of Ukraine, which, according to its structure, personnel potential and tasks, had the features of a full-fledged academic institution, the formation of which was directly related academician VI Vernadsky.
On the obverse of the medal there is: the Small State Emblem of Ukraine, in the center there is a historic building, built in the beginning of the 20th century, in which there is an academy, on the top of the circle there are inscriptions: NATIONAL ACADEMY OF AGRICULTURAL SCIENCES OF UKRAINE; Below is a book on which two green leaves (an element of decoration - enamel), on both sides of the book of stalks and years 1918 and 2018.
On the reverse of the medals on the background of the ears are the logo of the National Academy of Agrarian Sciences of Ukraine; Below the inscription: 100 / ROCKS, on both sides of the inscriptions - spikes; The logo of the Banknote-Mint of the National Bank of Ukraine (on the right - on the background of a colic).
