A low voltage, weatherproof PIR designed to simultaneously or individually control CCTV switchers and video recorders by using the two programmable voltage-free signal contacts with output timers incorporated within the 'Elite'. The outputs allow the 'Elite' to be used in CCTV and video switching applications. The module is fully adjustable using a pan and tilt bracket to allow accurate alignment of the area required. The module is in a vandal resistant, high impact ABS weatherproof housing and opaque UV stabilised polythene cover. During detection, the CCTV contacts close for 0.5 seconds selecting the required camera via a video switcher or multiplexer. Simultaneously, the video contacts close for a timed period starting the video/ time lapse recorder in real time recording. Recording happens whilst detection is taking place and for the timer period after detection. The Opal Elite is flexible and can be customised on site using the program function (programming table provided).
