For sale is the legandary and sought-after IBM Model F104-key Terminal model nicknamed Unsaver. The Model F switches are widely popular and hard to come by in a near TKLform factor - the Unsaver fulfills these needs. The given unit is deeply cleaned and therefore refurbished. All keys are clicking loud at actuation like they are supposed to be.
The plastic case is in really good shape - sadly I have to admit that in the bottom casing, at the back, a small piece broke out - the spot is shown in the picture. This is not seeable while in usage and obviously doesnt influence functionality however I have to point it out.
To make the keyboard usable I installed a special converter called xwhatsit-controller which makes the board programmable as well as usable via USB - simply plug it in and it works :)
As I did not wanted to drill the case to install a panel-mount mini usb socket the cable is fixed for now (so not easily removable without disassembly of the case) however if you want me to install the panel mount socket I will gladly do this for you at no cost if you ask me to do it.
Please note: this is a heavy IBM board, therefore international shipping is not gonna be cheap - also please note I will only ship tracked and insured, as I do not want this board to be lost in transit - of cause I am able to ship international

Hallo. Ich biete hier eine originale IBM Model F 104-Tasten Tastatur an, welche auch Unsaver genannt wird. Diese befindet sich in einem für ihr alter sehr guten Zustand: leider befindet sich ein kleiner Riss auf der Rückseite, welcher allerdings im Bild zu erkennen ist und die Funktion nicht beeinträchtigt. Dieser ist im Gebrauch nicht zu sehen.
Die Tastatur wurde gründlich gereinigt. Ferner wurde ein xwhatsit controller installiert, welcher die Tastatur über USB benutzbar macht - einfach einstecken und anfangen zu schreiben!
Aktuell ist das USB Kabel fest eingebaut - auf Wunsch bin ich bereit, eine mini USB Buchse zu verbauen, um das Kabel schnell wechseln zu können (Ich habe dies bislang unterlassen, da ich das Gehäuse "original" lassen wollte)
