COMPATIBILITY: 2010+ Hyundai Genesis Coupe 2.0T Theta I4 G4KF engine

DESCRIPTION:

This is a custom connecting rod bearing kit for the Hyundai Genesis 2.0T Theta G4KF engine. We have been offering this rod bearing seat since 2012 because no such application was available in the aftermarket performance industry. Bearings available in standard clearance or race use with additional 0.001" oil clearance. No bearing is a drop-in part for a high-performance engine. Always measure journal size, taper, and out-of-round. Check each journal clearance individually with precision measuring equipment. Due to production manufacturing methods, every journal clearance will vary slightly. It is highly recommended to hone the rods when installing new bearings and/or ARP rod bolt kit to achieve proper and consistent oil clearance. If you have any questions please contact us.

KIT CONTENTS:

-8 high-performance tri-metal connecting rod bearing shells

ACL BEARING ADVANTAGE:

ACL Race Series Performance Engine Bearings-The unique combination of design, metallurgy, and engineering come together to deliver what drivers expect from high-performance tri-metal engine bearings.

  • Designed to withstand higher RPM conditions, Race Series Engine Bearings are available for many of the popular 4, 6 & 8 cylinder applications and feature:
  • High strength P-max overlay plate with reduced thickness for improved fatigue properties
  • Hardened steel backs on all rod bearings to improve the support of the bearing lining and assist with bearing retention in the housing
  • Increased crush for improved bearing retention
  • Elimination of flash plating on the back of the bearings to improve heat transfer through the bearing sand to maximize the grip between the bearings and its housing
  • Increased eccentricity to compensate for bore distortion at high rpm and to assist in the formation of hydrodynamic oil films
  • 3/4 grooved Main Bearings to optimize bearing load carrying surface area and oil flow to the connecting rod bearings
  • Tight consistent wall tolerances to help you maintain consistent clearances
  • Enlarged ID chamfers on bearing edges, where required, to accommodate large fillet radius on performance crankshafts
