10 x Bait Band Rigs
from Flynscotsman Tackle
Instead of the bait going on the hook it goes onto a small band tied to the line which can accommodate bait/pellets from 2-6mm, 6-10mm, or 10mm+ in diameter. These are tried and tested to a lot of success.
Our Bait Band Rigs include either a loop or swivel for ease of connection to your main line. (Swivels are Matt Black in UK standard size 8 which will universally fit most lead clips). Or you can ask us for our new Quick Change Beads (Colour is black and have a breaking strain of 20lb). At the business end, they have a very strong, Teflon coated hook available in micro barbed and barbless in sizes 2, 4, 6, 8, 10. Our rigs can be made with monofilament, braid, or fluorocarbon and are approximately 8” in length though we can make any length if asked. If you would like a variation not offered in the drop-down menus, then please get in touch and we will try and accommodate changes for you.

Hook Sizes:
Options are size 2, 4, 6, 8, 10 barbless or micro barbed. Please see attached picture for reference. We also have curved hooks for all if you'd rather, just ask for them and I can provide, these come in 4,6,8,10, & 12.

Please also let us know how you want the quick change beads connected as there are two ways. Tied on, or looped on. Tied on means the quick change part goes onto a loop formed on the mainline (reel side). Looped on means the rig can be taken of and another rig changed on.
