DESCRIPTION:  "S. ERVEN & CO. BOTTLERS / PHILADA".  Offered at auction is rare brown stout beer bottle from Philadelphia!  This squat bottle likely dates to between the 1860s and 1880s.  Aqua blue glass. Heavy glass with lots of seed bubbles.  Kick-up bottom without pontil scar.  Measures approx. 7" high.  A great addition to your vintage bottle collection!   

CONDITION DETAILS: GOOD. This bottle was likely dug from a privy. Light overall external wear. Internal haze. Subsurface pressure crack along mold line along right side of bottle that measures 2.75" long [see photo]. No other scratches, cracks, chips, bruises or other damage.
