film can precisely measure pressure, pressure distribution, and
pressure balance. It is the only material in the world able to measure
pressure.
Red patches will appear on the film when pressure is applied and the
color density changes according to the various pressure levels. Microcapsules are broken and react with a color developing agent when pressure is applied.
There are seven types or film covering pressures from 1 to 43,200 PSI.
