RMT Rebuilt Self-Leveling Shock Absorber Overview:

RMT’s M230-R340-ADRR is a completely rebuilt Mercedes Benz SL-Class (R230) 2003-2006 Rear Right self-leveling shock absorber. Every component that can be worn down is replaced with brand new CNC seals and / or O-rings. Each core that comes in for rebuild is first thoroughly inspected to make sure there is no structural damage to the suspension part. Then every single component is taken out and the shock absorber is sandblasted and painted. With each seal and O-ring being put in place. Before we ship the part back, we test the suspension part above what is asked during normal use to ensure the part will last. Each seal is made in the USA. Along with your new rebuilt shock absorber. 

Note: To ensure optimal performance and maintain your warranty, please flush and refill with fresh hydraulic fluid after receiving your rebuilt unit, as you would with any car fluid. Failure to do so can cause vertical scoring on the shock rods, leading to leaks and voiding the warranty.

Disclaimer: (Only applies if you send in your part(s) to be rebuilt) If we detect vertical scoring on the rod(s) of part(s) you send for rebuilding, we will offer our "re-chroming" service to fully restore them. This service incurs an additional fee and will adds extra time to the rebuilding process, but allows us to provide our full warranty. All re-chroming is done in the USA. If you decline, we can return the parts at your expense or proceed without re-chroming but without any warranty on the finished part.
