DMP MUSIC, also known as Digital Music Products of Stamford, CT, USA was an audiophile record label committed to publishing music software of the highest caliber - both in terms of performance and sound reproduction. As we understand it, all DMP CD titles are no longer in print.

The DMP Big Band presents classic arrangements of well known songs by Count Basie, Tommy Dorsey, Duke Ellington, Woody Herman, Stan Kenton, and the Glenn Miller Orchestra .... recorded with tomorrow's recording technology. Carved In Stone was encoded with Circle Surround, the most accurate matrix surround technology available. This disc can be played on all matrix surround processors and is fully compatible with all stereo's. It has the best All Around Sound! Providing front-to-back sound separation as well as current side-to-side capabilities, Circle Surround allows the movement of sound around a room or car in a way that is far more dynamic than any other current technology. While multi-speaker systems are best to fully appreciate the superior sound dynamics, playback through any system is significantly enhanced with Circle Surround encoding.
