The press in plug and screws may be removed just using a pliers and screwdriver then substitute standard 5/8 hinge screw or whatever your requirements are.

When the plate are used with hinge build out blocks; (seen in photo's 11,12)  the hinges may be used for face frame cabinets, this is the method we prefer to prevent damage to the face frame itself when accidently over extending the door. (kids, :-)

Face frame plates can also be purchased separately right here on eBay if you wish not to use build out blocks.

These hinges swing away and to prevent the door from hitting the opposing/adjacent  door on the hinge side, very important on frameless cabinets.
