A real masterpiece.

Up for bid is a rare Artisan limited edition pen from MontblancPatron of Art Series produced in 2000 with an edition of only 12 copies unnumbered, paying tribute to the Carolingian king, Karl der Grosse (Charlemagne, Karl the Great), one of the greatest rulers of the period of the High Middle Ages. 
This exceptional masterpiece is part of a very small series that was never released onto the market, but just offered as a gift to few important patrons of art. 
The pen is crafted from faceted 18 karat 750 white gold with a gentle spiral twist, the clip and cap band are surmounted with white diamonds. Beautiful Montblanc nacre - mother of pearl cap top star. 
Rings and attributes reminiscent of the Carolingian decorative elements of the Cathedral of Aachen chapel where the emperor was sacred. Equipped with a 18k bicolor gold nib, engraved with the imperial monogram of Charlemagne, piston filler.  

The pen comes with a specific Montblanc International Arts Awards pen stand (some scratches on the plastic surface) with the date on which it was offered to the previous owner, an important french patron of art.
The cap is engraved with the initials (V.P.) of the previous owner as well.

Fully working and ready to write.

Selling all over the world for us the shipping is an important issue.

We use only high quality materials such as double wall cardboard boxes, extra large buble wrap, polypropylene packaging tape, pvc pipe with high resistance.

Shipment is guaranteed within 24 hours after receiving payment.

We have had some problems our traditional shipping methods (lost packages, major slowdown in delivery) so we decided to move to Fedex Priority Service.

So, the shipping costs are now slightly more expensive (between $45 and $100 depending on destination country, volume and weight of the parcel) but the service is greatly better.

FedEx requires a telephone number (landline or mobile) on the shipping label.

For this reason we ask you to tell us your phone number on the Paypal or with an ebay message.
