Stainless Steel Needle Characteristics
Jig Pro Shop LLC is proud to introduce some of the absolute finest stitching needles available on the market today!
Manufactured from 300 Series Medical Grade Stainless Steel.
Manufactured specifically to be used as stitching needles.
Perfect shapes & sizes for all of your projects.
Deeper threads than most other needles to provide a more positive grip.
Feature a blunted tip that won't snag and allows for easy threading.
Stainless Steel allows our needles to have a smaller diameter than aluminum or brass needles.
Allows for greater ease of threading through tightly woven weaves, braids, or knots.
Electropolished finish which microscopically closes the pores on the Stainless Steel
allowing much less resistance when threading them through your paracord projects.
Most aluminum needles found on the market today use an abrasive polishing technique.
This leaves tiny open pores on the surface of the aluminum that increases resistance
when threading through tight weaves and also leaves a metallic residue that can stain lighter color paracords.
This is is a great needle to have in your tool kit.
One end of the needle is pointed for stitching. The other end is open and threaded just the right
size allowing you to twist your cord into it ~ these needles hold like crazy!
Simply melt the end of the paracord with a lighter and form it into a point before it dries
(or cut your leather to a point).
Now just twist it into the open end of the needle (it's really easy) and off you go!

Important Information
Needle size can be determined by referencing the sizing chart above in the photos before purchase.
The second from the last photo shows many of the different types of stitching needles we carry.
You are purchasing just the item described in the title of this listing.
Not all manufacturers make cordages the same.
Due to the many variations in the different sizes of cordage it may be
necessary to form the end of your cord into either a mushroom or
pointed shape when melting it to get it to fit into the needle/fid properly.
