ID is 77.9mm. But since it is twist on type hood, it should fit lens with 72mm filter rim. I think it is too small for 77mm. I don't know what lens it might fit. Please make sure that it will fit your lens.
If it does not, you can mail it back for a full refund, as long as you pay for shipping back. It is sold as pictured.
Hood is in good condition. It show normal wear, It has some scratches from use. I don't see anything damaged. No cracks.
