I'm the creator and owner of the diesel_shims shim kit. With over 3,000 kits sold and 25 sets personally installed, I bring years of experience working with Power Stroke engines. Nowadays you'll find cheaper Chinese knockoffs of my design that use inferior components, photocopies of my instruction sheets, and incorrect tools needed for the job. The headache you will encounter with these knockoff kits will not out-weigh the menial price difference!

Why Trust Me? I’m a 78-year-old mechanic with over 50 years of experience, and I’ve been working on 7.3 Power Strokes for over 25 years. I’m committed to helping DIYers keep their trucks running strong by sharing the knowledge I’ve gained through decades of hands-on experience.
