Full Pro Setup for your Ibanez Guitar

Treat your Ibanez to a FULL Professional Setup by someone who really KNOWS Ibanez guitars and has been working, playing and modifying them for 20 years. We recently changed our ebay ID to CottamGuitarsUK, but it had been IbanezKing since 2002. We hold a huge stock of Ibanez parts and can order most others. We also have the UK's largest stocks of Dimarzio, Seymour Duncan and EMG pickups so if you want to combine the setup with some new pickups - you can!
There is a lot of work that needs to go into setting up an Ibanez guitar - and we're specifically talking here of the floating trem variety. To get it right there are several key factors that need to be adjusted just right...... and in the right order, and if you dont, you can spend all day trying to get it set up right and will fail.
We already offer a mail order service for guitar repairs/setups and moditying but have decided to offer this setup service on ebay to assist with the many emails we get asking for similar services.
Whilst there maybe some decent guitar shops out there, one of the most common complaints i hear is that you take your guitar to a guitar shop for a setup, and it comes back no better(sometimes worse!) and that it seems like all they've done is change the strings. Sadly this is probably because that really is all they have done AND charged you handsomely for the privelige.

The setup will include a fret polish which will remove minor marks, but if you have large grooves it will not remove those, and you may require a full fret dress which will be extra(approx £35). The setup includes a set of Ernie Ball 9's/9-46's/10's. If you have any other desired gauge or a 7/8-String please send a set with your guitar and please state what tuning you require, otherwise we will assume regular EADGBE. You will be informed before hand of ANY work above the setup charge, that we deem necessary to get your guitar playing great.
So heres how it will work :
1) Click the buy it now and pay through Paypal(this covers your setup)
2) Package your guitar and send it to us. Please use a hardcase!! We recently had a customer send us an expensive Musicman from Spain in a GIGBAG!! luckily all was ok :-)
3) We will inspect your guitar and give you a call or email to confirm what needs doing or what you want doing, if its anything other than the full setup that this auction covers.
4) Once the work is done we will let you know and you can book a collection. Typical turnaround time will be 2 to 3 days.

All our auctions are now set-up to only accept Immediate Payment through eBay checkout. Local collection is fine. We're in Leigh near Manchester (WN73JW). If the auction won't allow you to select local pickup - then please contact us with the details of the item you want and we can arrange collection. If you are buying more than one item PLEASE use the ebay "shopping basket" feature, which allows you to temporarily place your multiple purchases on hold and then make ONE payment for them at the end. We always post items quickly and we generally post on Monday, Wednesday and Friday mornings, and more often in busy periods. Please note : The Royal Mail DO NOT regard a Parcel/Package/Letter lost until 15 workings after the expected date of arrival for Domestic items and 25 days for International items. If you haven't received your item, please email or phone us giving us as much info as possible. We will then email you a claims form which needs to be filled completely and posted back to us to enable us to make a claim. All items will be sent well packed and in new self-seal Jiffy bags or boxes in the case of larger items.
Returns will be accepted In line with the UK DSR's, as long as we are notified within 7 days from delivery date, postage will be at your expense. Feedback will be left for you once it has been left for us. We are 110% certain you will be happy with any item you purchase from Cottam Guitars, and we'll therefore assume you are happy with your purchase once you have left feedback for us and also take this as confirmation that you have safely received your item/s. If you're unsure of the part you need or if it will fit, please email or call BEFORE you buy it, and we can advise of the correct part.
