high performance digital AM/FM tuner finds and locks onto stations with

MediaXpander Restores the Original Sound

and other MP3 players sound good, but not as good as the original
because the data is compressed. To achieve playback that’s closer to the
pristine sound, Alpine developed MediaXpander. It enhances the
frequency ranges where the sound is compressed, restoring the original
vibrancy.
