§330mate made Honyama Yamashiro-mate. Come from central Kyoto city.
Iyo-mate come from Iyo Ehime pref.§
  • Our mine Mid. age Nakayama established 800+ yrs. old history.
  • The 17th gene. Miner is my master.
    The first Niemon Y. was a shrine carpenter who serves the Emperor. He changed his job to a miner.
    His clan was captain miners of Narutaki, Nakayama, Kanjiki, Makiba, Shiroto, Okudo, Ohzuku, Tento, Gosenryo, Sougoroh, Suitaguchi, Osaki, Ananotani, Choushiroh, Takayama, Kizuyama, Atago, etc. Most of them are belong to Yamashiro region of Ukyo ward central Kyoto city area.
    The 17th is born in 1934. So old. In 2010, he became inactive, and now I'm the 18th gene.
    The 17th was introduced by DouguMandara carpentry tools book.
    It's so expensive famous dictionary in JP.
    The 18th was was collected data on for a hardware magazine
    The 18th was broadcasted in Nippon Television of the nationwide broadcasting from 19:00 Sep 2010.

  • Higonokami is able to re-sharpen. Refer to disposal cutter knife sharpening video. It's similar work.
    Iyo is suitable for Higo sharpening well.
    **Drop some water and make enough slurry before sharpening.
  • Mainly ,they are temporarily usage.
    Once ,they are known as the teaching materials of the primary school children.
    People learn sharpening skill and the handling of the knife.
    However,laminated blade editions are belong to high class blades!!
