This New variable length jig disposes of the restrictive length settings associated with other jigs.

Now any length of joint is easily achieved with just a quick measurement. No more adding, subtracting, making spacers or guessing when it comes to non-standard tops. The 7 most common standard length stops are still provided if you wish to use them.

This universal jig produces a tidy 20mm deep cut that provides for all types of worktop, even fully rounded profiles up to 40mm thick.

BUYERS BEWARE!!!   The majority of budget jigs sold here, under £50 are made from MFMDF (Melamine faced medium density fibreboard). or even worse just MDF. Our advice to you is don't go near them, below are the reason's why. MFMDF is basically a sheet of ordinary MDF with a roller coated surface finish like a hard paint, it is very cheap & can be bought from any timber merchant. It will wear out in no time & It absorbs atmospheric moisture like a sponge resulting with swelling in damp conditions & shrinkage in dry conditions, it will cause in-accurate joints. It's a totally unsuitable material to make a such a critical jig from.   Unfortunately, due to a loophole in trading standards law, sellers are allowed to describe these goods as "laminated" even though it only has a micro thin surface coating.  If you're thinking I'm only going to use it once for my own kitchen then think again. You're probably going to, or already have paid quite a lot for your worktops so please don't ruin them with poor quality tools. All our jigs are made from the best quality external grade compact laminate (HPL). They are incredibly stable & robust with similar wear qualities as metal. Totally impregnable from chemicals & external weather conditions & will last a lifetime with everyday use as only a professional user would expect.

The two part design makes it very light & easy to set  up. When used in conjunction with a 1/2" plunge router a worktop joint can be  made in fewer than 15 minutes with perfect precision.

The anti-friction surface allows your router to glide  smoothly through the cut without snagging.

The 20mm diameter location pegs twist firmly down to  make perfect alignment. No wobble, no misalignment, no errors.

The simple, three point positioning system makes this jig the easiest of all to set up and use for perfect joints every time. Each  jig is machined to within a tolerance of +/- 0.03mm to give the ultimate  results, even when cutting up to 15º out of square.
