This is a 5ft Nylon Stock Whip. It is hand plaited like all our whips.
This is not a piece of rope attached to a handle.
It is properly plaited around a nylon core and has a nylon keeper and fall. It cracks easily, exactly the same as our leather whips.
Look closely at the photos and compare the plaiting, finish and workmanship. The difference is easy to see.
The advertised 5ft measurement refers to the plaited section of the whip, called the thong.
