The drawings typically include side elevations, floor plans, and often the details. Each group is different depending on the architectural team assigned to document these structures. These drawings were performed under the guidance of the Historic American Buildings Survey program initiated during the Great Depression to record as many of the historical architectural buildings in the USA as possible. This drawing set is extremely accurate. This Book 6 includes 12 of the East Coast Lighthouses on file with the Library of Congress drawings collection.

The book pages contain high resolution black line drawings on natural cream paper. The original large format drawings were scanned with a digital scanner. The original large scale pencil drawings have faded over the years so the scans were weak. Our publishing company developed a unique computer program to restore the line weight and density to make the original drawings look almost as good as the day they were drawn. Books are shipped First Class USPS in a padded envelope.
