The coin is 1 5/8 inches in diameter.

SFARTAETC teaches Special Forces personnel in the techniques required by the CINCs In-Extremis Force (CIF) Company within a given Special Force Group (SFG). SFARTAETC teaches: Combat weapons marksmanship, close quarters battle (CQB) and explosive and mechanical breaching. Live weapons fire and assault tactics and techniques are conducted under simulated conditions using predetermined scenarios in/on specially configured structures/ranges.

The CIF Company within a Special Forces Group is tasked with training the counter terrorist (CT) teams of foreign militaries.
