Integrated Dell Remote Access Controller6 (iDRAC6) is a systems management hardware and software solution that provides remote management capabilities, crashed system recovery, and power control functions for the Dell PowerEdge systems.

The iDRAC6 uses an integrated System-on-Chip microprocessor for the remote monitor/control system. The iDRAC6 co-exists on the system board with the managed PowerEdge server. The server operating system is concerned with executing applications; the iDRAC6 is concerned with monitoring and managing the server’s environment and state outside of the operating system. You can configure the iDRAC6 to send you an e-mail or Simple Network
Management Protocol (SNMP) trap alert for warnings or errors. To help you diagnose the probable cause of a system crash, iDRAC6 can log event data and capture an image of the screen when it detects that the system has crashed. The iDRAC6 network interface is enabled with a static IP address of 192.168.0.120 by default. It must be configured before the iDRAC6 is accessible. After the iDRAC6 is configured on the network, it can be accessed at its assigned IP address with the iDRAC6 Web interface, Telnet, or Secure Shell (SSH), and supported network management protocols, such as Intelligent Platform Management Interface (IPMI).

Shipping

All items are shipped either via FedEx, UPS, or USPS. We ship orders within 24 hours, after receiving your payment. Express deliveries are available upon request using your Fedex or UPS account number ONLY. Threre is a $20 drop off fee on all Express orders that has to ship the same day. No drop off fee if you schedule the pickup for next day on  your account. We do allow customers to use their own FedEx / UPS account on large orders / Express shipments ONLY if arrangement is made BEFORE purchasing. If we use your Fedex / UPS account, we do charge a $25 flat fee for servers to cover packing cost. No local pickup is allowed as we do not have a store front. All items must be shipped. We use top of the line shipping supplies to make sure that your item(s) arrives safely. Packages to PR/APO/FPO HI/Alaska and similar locations will require extra payment in postage. We only ship to the address on your payment.

ITEM FACTS

We purchase large quantities of surplus items. We are not always familiar with the use of each item.  Please, do not take for granted that any peripheral or other items needed for the operation, installation or use of the item described will be included. Such as, documentation, batteries, power packs, cables, drivers, software or any item other than what is listed.                  



RETURNS

Returns are only accepted within 30 days from the date of purchase. There are no exceptions to this policy. Inspect items as soon as you receive them and report any issues promptly. Please save the server shipping box and any packing material for 30 days. We keep track of serial numbers on every item we sell. Returned items with serial number that do not match our records will be refused. RMA is required on all returns. 


Warranty


We warranty all purchases for 30 days, from the date the client receives the package, unless specified otherwise. No return or exchange will be accepted outside the 30 days window. There is no exceptions to this policy. Please test all items upon arrival and report any issues immediately. We are not responsible for any damage or losses related to your time, project or environment (data / software / network / server / rack / building) where purchased parts are installed; Modifications to any parts sold without prior approval will void our warranty. Client is responsible for shipping the original defective item(s) back to us for warranty repairs, fully insured against damage or loss. In case of damage or loss, client will be responsible for initiating a claim with the shipping carrier.

International customers are welcome! please contact us to verify shipping cost to your location. International custom & duty fees are always the responsibility of the buyer. Postage to some international locations is higher than our published postage. In these cases, we give the buyer the option to cover the extra postage or cancel the transaction. We may be able to offer a shipping discount, if you buy items in bulk.  Please note that international shipments may be delayed up to 1 month due to USPS or Custom's hold up. We are not responsible for this delay. If you need faster shipping, please let us know and we might be able to utilize Fedex for an extra charge.  We will work with you on resolving any USPS shipping issues, only after 30 days have elapsed from the date of the shipment. Please do not ask us to alter item(s) value to avoid paying custom's fees. Such requests will be ignored.
