Durable enough to use every day! The bowls have a base coat and a swirled on second coat that results in a slightly textured surface on the exterior; the interior is smooth. Because of this process every bowl is unique in color coverage and patterns.

This enamelware is made of carbon steel coated with porcelain enamel and trimmed with a stainless steel rim. Oven and broiler safe to 500 degrees. Dishwasher safe, but dry promptly. Do not wash with hard water stain removers or lemon based detergents- this will affect the finish. Do not soak. Enamelware is naturally non-stick and washes up with little effort. Enamelware should not be used in the microwave.
