M5R1 M5OD Fits Ford Ranger Bronco 5 Spd Transmission Cluster Gear 

This is a cluster gear for the Fits Ford Ranger Truck 2x2 or 4x4 5 speed manual transmission used during 1987-on.

You can identify this transmission by tags on the side that read: "E87A, E97A, FO7A, or F17A".  This transmission has an aluminum case and an aluminum top cover. Note this transmission is called the M5R1 or M5OD or Mazda Type.


Note: This cluster has a tooth count of 38-34-25-17

This cluster is usually in the 6 Cylinder 2.9L, 3.0L or 4.0L.  You need to count the teeth on the cluster to be sure.   Do not assume this is the right part without counting the teeth on your cluster!

If you have the 4 Cylinder, you will likely need a different cluster but you need to count the teeth on your cluster to be sure! Please see our store if you need the other cluster or anything else for your M5R1 Transmission rebuild.
