HERE IS A LARGE 2.3 OUNCES, BEAUTIFUL GEMMY AZURITE MALACHITE DISPLAY SPECIMEN WITH A REALLY HUGE DARK BLUE AZURITE CRYSTAL ABOUT 5/8" EMBEDDED IN THE SPECIMEN. FINALLY THERE ARE MALACHITE ACCENTS ON THE REST OF PIECE. THIS FINE SPECIMEN IS FROM THE HUBEI PROVINCE IN CHINA.
This is another of my nice azurite specimens from china. I received it from China in my last shipment a couple years ago. There is very little chinese azurite coming out of the mines now, my sources say that it is pretty much gone now unless they get lucky and find another large deposit in the future!! I was lucky in that I still have a small store of it but it will soon be gone also. If you want one of these before the price really goes out of sight now is the time to get one, the price will never be lower than now. This specimen is a very nice specimen with a huge bright dark blue azurite crystal measuring 5/8" in size embedded in the specimen. The specimen is about 2"x1.5"x1.25" inches in size. It weighs about 2.3 ounces. This piece is a real eye opener that will attract anybodies attention! This is truly a unique piece that any body would be proud to display. In the bright sunlight this piece is very pretty. This specimen will display beautifully in a showcase and be one of the nicer pieces you will have. In this case I am sure that anybody that really likes azurite malachites will really love this specimen. To really understand the look of the piece you just have to look at the pictures which in this case really don't look as nice as the piece. The pictures were taken under Fluorescent lighting with no enhancement whatsoever!

I spent 5 years living in Shanghai China where I was working as an electronic engineer for an american company. I spent my spare time on weekends and holidays pursuing my long time hobby of collecting minerals. I am married to a beautiful Chinese lady who has helped immensely with this passion. With her help I ended up making contacts with miners and setting up a partnership with a chinese man who takes care of business for me in China. When I returned from China I was laid off from my job many years ago, so I have been importing and selling these minerals mostly wholesale accross the country in order to feed the family.
