This is an incredible collectible. I believe this piece may be from the 1920"s  to very early 1930's based on the information shown below.

To identify the early Noritake porcelain, it is important to remember their intended adaption to the western taste. The "M in a wreath" mark was used mostly between c 1911 until 1921.  There are several backstamps for items made in Japan. The Nippon mark, referred to as the Sunrise or Rising Sun mark is pale blue with Hand Painted above mark and Nippon below the mark. The word Nippon means Japan, but in western characters. This mark was not used after 1921. The 'M' for Morimura in a wreath crowned by Noritake, this mark is either green, red and rarely blue.   The 'M' mark was completely replaced in 1941 when it was replaced by the 'N' mark.The "M" in a wreath mark was used between  1914 until 1940.
