We've created a gel perfect for taming loose hair and encouraging dreadlocks to lock and tighten. The binding and conditioning properties are achieved through the use of Aloe Vera, Rosemary and Lavender essential oils. It smells absolutely divine making it a great way to freshen up your head of dreads. It's a lighter, wash out formula make it a great alternative to the wax.

Dread Empire's Tightening Gel is Australian Made and free from Lauryl Sulphates.

The gel can be applied to dreadlocks as often as needed. The gel can be applied directly on to dreadlocks using the palm rolling technique. This will also help separate, shape and smooth down loose hair.

Palm rolling simply means rolling the dreadlock between your palms, starting from the top and working your way down to the bottom whilst applying some downward pressure.

If your dreads need further assistance in locking up, you may wish to also consider the Accelerator and Dread Dust. Both of which fast track your way to neat, healthy, well groomed dreadlocks.
