INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS LOWER
BOOT ASSEMBLY Attach
the “L” Bracket to the Base Bar. Loosely
attach the Boot to the Base Bar. The large end goes forward. Position
on the door with clamp or tape to verify that is does not interfere
with the door closing or rubbing on the floor, Adjust
as Necessary! Drill
a ¼” hole & secure with (1) ¼”-20x5/8” machine bolt
w/washer & nut in the TOP hole. The lower hole will be drilled
and secured after the pitch for the rifle butt is verified. *You
will come back and secure the other bolt once the upper rack is
installed!!! UPPER
ASSEMBLY Locate
the best location for the Upper Bracket so that there is clearance
for your knuckles between the steering wheel and the Upper Bracket.
You must be able to access the door/window controls also. Mark
location of the (2) holes for the upper bracket and drill 3/8”
holes. *YOU
MAY WISH TO START WITH SMALLER HOLES AND WORK UP.) Install
the well nuts with the screws attached into the 3/8” holes you just
drilled. Gently shove the well nuts into the holes using the screw
heads for leverage. Remove the screws, install the upper bracket
and tighten the screws.
The
safety band is preinstalled for your convenience.
GO
BACK TO THE LOWER BRACKET. Hold your rifle in the lower boot to
verify the proper angle for the butt stock. (it
should rest squarely on the bottom of the butt plate) Mark
the angle. Remove the boot to access the second (lower) hole. Drill
and insert (1) ¼”-20x5/8” bolt, washer and nut. Secure the
lower bracket. Re-Install the boot and tighten all bolts. ***If
in doubt on any procedure, please feel free to call us and we’ll
walk you thru the installation. GOOD
