1.   Crucible can be used for melting and pouring Gold, Silver, Copper, Brass and more. Our Crucibles are long lasting, crucible is made of high grade fused Silica, withstands temperatures up to 2500F/1371°C .

NOTE: Crucibles should be glazed with Borax prior to use, which also helps to extend the life of the crucible..

2.    Handle Holder/Tong with Wood Handle.  This handle/tong holds any round diameter crucible that is 2-7/8"- 3" outer diameter.

 

HANDLE  # 0311-201 Made in USA   

The crucible holder shaft is steel mounted into a hardwood handle. The shaft is 1/2" wide x 1/8" thick steel, with a 1/4" screw and wing nut to assure a firm hold while transferring liquid metals.  Overall length of handle measures 17".
