The Claddagh ring (Irish fáinne Chladaigh) is a Traditional ring given as a token of friendship, love and/or as a Wedding Ring. The design and customs associated with it originated in the Irish fishing village of Claddagh, located just outside the city of Galway. The ring was first produced in the 17th century during the reign of William & Mary, though elements of the design date to the late Roman period.

When worn on the right ring finger with the heart pointing to the fingertip, the wearer is free of any attachment.
On the same finger but the other way round, with the heart pointing away from the fingertip, it suggests someone is romantically involved.
When the ring is on the left hand wedding ring finger, it means the person is married or engaged.

Shipping & Returns

While we endeavour to dispatch all stock items within 1 working day, during busy periods this may not always be possible. If you require your order for a specific time please contact us to confirm availability. All orders over £200 will be sent Royal Mail Special Delivery. All other orders will be sent Royal Mail First Class Tracked, next day delivery is available at an extra charge.

Please ask All Shipments are traceable, International buyers are responsible to ask their local customs office regarding any import duties & taxes that may be due.

The buyer has 30 days to return their purchase. All returns must be in original condition complete with original box. We will not accept any items that have been altered or resized. If you have ordered an incorrect ring size we are happy to exchange for you all we ask is that cover our postage costs to return the replacement to you.
