This sonata was originally written for cello and continuo by the Italian composer Giuseppe Torelli, but offers the bassoonist a chance to play a work in the baroque style that has two very expressive movements and two somewhat technical movements.  The difficulty is about intermediate, due to the two faster movements, and the two slower movements provide much room for expression.  The form is slow-fast-slow-fast, and total time for all four movements is about 4:50.  The piece would be ideal for recital, church, or just practice.  It is probably of an intermediate level, and is great music.  The range is two octaves, from F# below the staff to F# above.

The music was printed on high quality 67 pound paper.  The piano part is plastic comb bound to protect the music and to make page turning easy.  I feel that you will be very pleased with production of the music.
