Description:
Today we have for sale a very old used Vietnam era authentic vintage U.S. Military issue M-1951 (OG-107) Field Jacket. This type of jacket was used throughout the war until the M-65 field jacket was issued. It is dated 1955. This jacket is in good condition for its age. The nomenclature on the collar and the right lower inside pocket are very hard to read. Some of the information is readable. It is a size Long Medium. It is in good condition with some holes and fading. The buttons are missing on the sleeve cuffs. The zipper works properly. It does not have a hood or cold weather liner. This field jacket features four snap down pockets, brass closure zipper, functional epaulets, interior original draw string, single button cuffs but the buttons are missing. It measures approximately 23 inches from armpit to armpit, 20 inches from shoulder seam to shoulder seam, 36 inches from the collar to the bottom and 24 inches from the shoulder seam to the cuff. An awesome piece for any military collector, museum item or reenactment soldier.
