We've taken our all natural, residue free, super dread cleaning power (aka Classic) and added carefully selected Essential Oils which are renowned for their ability to clean, nourish and maintain healthy scalp and hair.

You might be thinking, but I don't have dandruff? No problemo! You don't have to have dandruff to enjoy the woody scents of Cedarwood, Tea Tree and Rosemary. Or what about Soothing Scalp? The soothing antiseptic properties of Lavender will benefit everyone and soothe your soul in the process! And finally Deep Cleansing is the perfect way to freshen up your dreads with a blast of Grapefruit and Lime Essential Oils

Dread Empire Dread Shampoo is Australian Made and free from Lauryl Sulphates.

Inclusions: 3 x 400ml Shampoo bottles including Deep Cleansing, Anti Dandruff and Soothing Scalp.

Ingredients

Purified Aqua, Lauryl Glucoside (plant derived), Cocamido Propyl Betaine (coconut derived), Citric Acid, Phenoxy Ethanol (natural preservative).

Extra Ingredients

Anti Dandruff: Cedarwood, Rosemary, Tea Tree Essential Oils.

Soothing Scalp: Lavender and Rosemary Essential Oils.

Deep Cleansing: Grapefruit and Lime Essential Oils.

Mature dreadlocks can be washed as often as desired and in fact, this helps dreadlocks to tighten and lock up. The cleaner your hair the better it will dread. 

After thoroughly wetting your hair, carefully massage shampoo into your dreadlocks and scalp. Rinse thoroughly and squeeze the water out of your dreadlocks. Wrap them in a towel to absorb excess moisture and then be sure to let them dry thoroughly by air or with a hair dryer before tieing them up.

It is a good idea to palm roll after shampooing as this will separate and shape each dread. If your dreads are new or if you feel they have become loose or messy, then you may also want to perform some maintenance. A Dreading Crochet Hook can be used occasionally to pull loose hairs back into the dreadlocks. The use of Dread Empire's Accelerator, Tightening Gel and Dread Dust also greatly assist in achieving neat, well groomed dreadlocks.
