A Premium Grade Melting dish crucible can be used for melting Gold, Silver, Brass, Copper and other metals. Crucible is made of clay bonded high grade fused silica and withstands temperatures up to 2500°F/1,371°C. This is High Grade "Rated A-1 TOP Quality" Crucible, Made in ITALY.
The melting dish can be handled with a tong or "Whip", crucible has a pouring spout.
Pre-heat the crucible prior to use and glaze with Borax, this will prolong the life of the crucible.
