Reproduction 1907 $5 "Woodchopper" Legal Tender U.S. Note

This is a reproduction of a costly and highly collectible note. The front (obverse) and back (reverse) are printed on separate sheets. As illustrated above the word COPY is printed on the back of each sheet. Sizing is less than the original note. It would look great in a collection or on display.

Legal Tender Notes (also known as United States Notes) were first authorized in 1862, and are the longest-lived type of U.S. paper money.

According to Federal Law and EBAY Policy reproduction notes are printed on two separate sheets of paper. The front (obverse) is printed on one sheet and the back (reverse) is printed on another sheet. The word "COPY" is printed on the back of each sheet of paper. The two sheets can be displayed back to back in a sleeve or album page giving the appearance of a complete note without "COPY" showing. Replica notes can also be mounted in a frame showing the front and the back at the same time. Uniface notes are printed on one side of a sheet with "COPY" printed on the back of the sheet. These replica notes are printed at less than actual size. The actual notes look better than the pictures.
