A beautiful vintage Dutch Delft polychrome ceramic tile featuring a traditional sailing ship navigating rolling waves, accompanied by smaller vessels in the distance. The detailed maritime scene features warm golden-brown sails, the Dutch tricolour flag and attractive blue decorative corner motifs.

The tile measures approximately 13 × 13 cm and is in excellent overall vintage condition. There are a couple of very fine, superficial age-related crazing lines in the glazed surface, which do not affect the tile's appearance or structural integrity. The reverse shows natural age-related discolouration and a faint impressed mark.

A charming piece of Dutch maritime decorative pottery, ideal for collectors of Delft ceramics, nautical antiques and vintage European decorative tiles. Equally attractive framed, displayed individually or incorporated into a decorative tile collection.
