Marble's MR183 Folding Hunter, Fluted Honey Bone, 5-1/4", 2-Blades,
DISCONTINUED, NEW from Old Stock, Vintage 2005.
A dandy size for this otherwise bigger knife, often worn with a sheath;
however, this model, although still hefty, could be carried comfortably in a
pocket.
Flat bar shield & huge grooved bolsters, each end
different.
Never used, never sharpened, never carried, gently cleaned. Knife has been in my possession for 20 years.
Arced match strike pulls. "Marble's" nicely etched on the
skinner blade, and stamped on the tang.
The Saber grind of the Clip blade gives it a robust look.
No pits, rust or tarnish. Blades, with factory edges, are sharp right out
of the box, and close with a resounding BANG! into their own INDIVIDUAL
brass-lined groove, a nice look and adds strength to the frame. No half-stops.
Original box and zippered, padded black “Marbles”
carrying pouch will be included.
Pictures are not of the actual knife the winning bidder
will receive, because inventory is low and this production run varies little
from the generic pictures. The honey
color and the fluted bone handles are striking.
Marble's quality is probably commensurate with Rough Rider, and makes it
affordable for users to carry and use collectible grade pocket
knives.
Would make a nice Christmas present.
