2005 BMW X3 2.0d se m47 engine 6 speed manual
I bought this about 18 months ago to do a tour around Europe with some mates this year. In preparation
I pulled the cylinder head and inlet manifold whilst there i replaced
All exhaust valve guides the inlets were with tolerance
Recut all valves
Decoked inlet manifold and egr
Replaced water pump
Replaced thermostat
Deleted swirl flaps
Carried out a full service fuel filter air filter pollen filter oil filter
Its got full history and has a clutch and flywheel change at 117,000 miles
It performed perfectly on the tour now im back I have no use of it.
It has 4 matching tyres important for the x drive
2 working keys
Factory fitted towbar with working electrics it even has the key so you can lock it into place
There are some bad points
Windscreen cracked
Air con belt failed in italy I havent got round to getting it replaced
The transfer box occasionally does some strange things you can occasionally get some rough running from although most of the time it's fine , there are no error codes present from the transfer module this isint as bad as it may seem as you can just unplug the transfer box module forcing it into 2wd
There is some minor damage to the front bumper and number plate where someone reversed into on a supermarket
The car will make a cracking winter hack and is nice and currently recording 38mpg
