This book evokes a memorable picture of their old Romany ways, including recipes, information on feasts and celebrations, marriage and funeral customs and a unique way of life that has almost disappeared. 

There is a chapter on natural healing using herbs and flowers as cures and remedies.   This is a very interesting book and has some unusual recipes.
