Physical Cushion Dimensions
The exact architectural measurements of the cushion pad are:
- Width: 20 inches (approx. 510 mm) measuring horizontally across the widest span of the torso support zone.
- Height/Length: Adjustable from 25 to 27 inches (approx. 635–685 mm). It features an internal slide-and-lock channel that allows the cushion to telescope vertically to match the user's thoracic height.
- Material Thickness: Features a dual-layer contour, utilizing high-density pelvic/lateral alignment foam and a softer spinal immersion center.
Seat Size Compatibility
This cushion is cut for specific physical configurations of the seating frame:
- Backrest Pan Compatibility: Requires a 20" wide metal backrest pan shell. It will not fit securely on narrower 16" or 18" shells, nor will it fill the space on a 22" or 23" shell.
- Target Seating Profile: Built primarily for adult seating configurations requiring a Tall/Extra-Tall (25"-27") torso support combined with a Wide (20") frame footprint.
Permobil Model Compatibility
This specific cushion is fully compatible with the Corpus Seating System (including Corpus 3G and Corpus Ergo lines) mounted onto the following power wheelchair bases:
- Front-Wheel Drive Series: Permobil F3 Corpus and F5 Corpus / F5 Corpus VS.
- Mid-Wheel Drive Series: Permobil M3 Corpus and M5 Corpus.
- Heavy Duty & Legacy Platforms: Permobil M300 Corpus HD as well as standard legacy C300 and C500 wheelchair bases using adult Corpus packages.
