An exceptional, highly collectible piece of authentic British sporting history from J. Barbour and Sons. Sourced fresh from an upscale estate auction, this classic olive-green diamond-quilted jacket dates between 1982 and 1987, featuring the historic two Royal Warrant labels. Designed with traditional field utility in mind, it works beautifully as a standalone shooting jacket or as a heavy insulated inner liner jacket for Barbour waxed coats.
Condition Report
Great Vintage Condition / Minor Stitching Flaws Noted
- No holes, fabric tears, stains, or moth damage anywhere on the main body shell or lining.
- Odors: None. Completely smoke-free, pet-free, and storage-odor free, clean from an estate.
- Stitching Flaw 1: There are two small sections (approximately 1 inch each) where the decorative diamond quilt pattern threads have pulled loose.
- Stitching Flaw 2: The rear game pouch pocket has loose stitching along the upper and lower seams on the left side of the pocket flap area (see detailed close-up photos). The pocket remains attached and functional but has separated slightly at the seam edge. This can easily be repaired.
