1965 I Spy Return to Glory TV Production Script Culp Cosby Fine Friedkin

Vintage 1965 production-era script for the classic television espionage series I Spy, titled “Return to Glory.”

The opening page credits writers Morton Fine and David Friedkin and is dated October 18, 1965, with Triple F Productions, 846 N. Cahuenga Ave., Hollywood, California printed at the bottom.

“Return to Glory” was subsequently produced and broadcast as Season 1, Episode 21 of I Spy on February 23, 1966, starring Robert Culp as Kelly Robinson and Bill Cosby as Alexander Scott.

The script runs through page 52 and ends with scene 108, “FADE OUT” and “THE END.” The final scene even contains the “glass pants” gag referenced in published descriptions of the broadcast episode.

The yellow cardstock front cover bears a handwritten name appearing to read “Charles Ruggles,” together with a circled “21.” The handwriting has not been authenticated and no ownership or autograph attribution is being made. Interestingly, “Return to Glory” was broadcast as Episode 21.

Retains its yellow cardstock covers and two-brad binding. An excellent piece of 1960s television production memorabilia from one of the signature espionage series of the era.
