Unit only no speakers

Powers up and plays both cds fine but the cross fader slide doesnt seem reponsive either do the vertical slide controls ...google is suggesting it could be dust and needs cleaning inside however i dont fancy opening it up incase i damage it more!

Other things to note as seen in pics there is no lid and 2 buttons are missing covers
