Before Big Jim Thompson wrote noir thrillers, he wrote regular old small town literary novels for regular folks! Later on came his hardboiled noir novels!

Here's an example of this,
Heed The Thunder, in 1946! First edition hardcover with no writing in the book and very clean. No remainder marks and not ex-library.  $2.50 unclipped dustcover.

Good/Very good condition book and fair condition jacket. Jacket is listed as fair only because it has been pasted to the book for some strange reason, but at least that has kept the jacket with the book for over 70 years!

The back dustcover as pictured, has some paste bubbles from being attached to the book and some pink discoloration on 2/3 of the page. Most of this is on the rear of the book with only a few signs of it on the front!
