This antique handcrafted brass piece depicts tribal figurines riding a bullock cart, showcasing traditional Dhokra art from India. Dhokra art is one of the oldest known forms of non–ferrous metal casting, famous for its distinctive rustic aesthetic and the use of the lost-wax casting technique.
This is a really cool and unique piece. The detail in the craftsmanship is incredible. My personal favorite part is the lantern that dangles off the back of the cart. No major flaws or anything to note. Wear consistent with her age. You'll just need to decide if you want to clean it or let patina continue to take it. This item is very heavy, and the wheels do work, so you'll need to display it just right so that it is stationary.
I make every effort to note and photograph any flaws or defects. If you read my description and view my pictures there should be no reason for a return. If the item is damaged during shipping or there are extenuating circumstances please reach out and we will see a resolution.
