A Mason’s patent Ironstone teapot decorated with the “Brocade” pattern. It measures approximately 16.5 cm (6.5") high and from spout to handle it measures 22 cm (8½“). The impressed and printed backstamp together with handpainted numbers indicates that this piece dates to c.1935-36. Capacity 900 ml. It is in good condition – no cracks or chips to the teapot; some gilt loss on the spout end; some staining inside the teapot in the indentations of the feet; age glaze crazing present on the lid and a small chip (see last photo). Please look at all the photos as they form an important part of the description. Thank you for your interest.
